Hurricane Information

When Sustained Winds are over 45 mph on the SR 100 Bridge, they will close the bridges coming onto the barrier island.  Westbound lanes (exiting off the barrier island toward Bunnell) will always remain open.

If a mandatory evacuation is ordered, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will notify the  public of open shelters.  

 Individuals with Special Needs that require medical and/or transportation assistance if required to evacuate in an emergency or disaster.  For more information  on qualifications and to apply to to
